Dear Moishy [Pinson] and Bais Shmuel congregation,
Brochos from Hevron!
I wanted to take the opportunity and express our gratefulness and gratitude to you and our dear friends from Beis Shmuel for sponsoring our children’s Tzeirei Hashluchim Winter camp experience.
When you first called me with this generous offer that you initiated, of sending 3 of our children this year to the Tzeirei Hashluchim winter camp due to the situation in Hevron, Batsheva and I were extremely touched that we are privileged to have friends that care so much for the Rebbe’s Kinder in Hevron.
The 10 days that the kids spent in camp with the other yaldei hashluchim gave them a real “injection” of chasidishkeit and hiskashrus not to mention the improvement in their English…
This once in a lifetime treat enabled them to remove themselves from the crazy situation we are currently dealing with in Hevron and enhance their understanding of who we are and why we are in Hevron.
Unfortunately we encountered reality as soon as we landed last Erev Shabbos…
On our drive back from the airport on the road to Hevron we drove smack into a convey of over a hundred Arab cars on the way to a huge funeral procession honking and cheering waving Palestinian flags and making threatening gestures towards us as they were escorting the bodies of 5 Arab terrorists may they rot in hell…
Obviously the kids were very nervous, and Yisrael started to cry. I felt so bad for the extreme “U turn” from sunny Florida to the Hevron reality that they encountered.
At the Friday night table I told the kids that what we experienced was part of the last dying moments of Golus and it is up to us to finish the job and very soon they will greet their new friends from camp in Hevron together with Moshiach.
May you continue to give the Rebbe Nachas with all your tremendous work on behalf of the Shluchim and the Crown Heights community and may Kehilas Beis Shmuel continue to be a dugma chaya to all of Anash caring for Shluchim worldwide.
With love and Respect,
Danny

The wonderful staff deserve a huge thank you for their devotion and dedication. My son came home and couldn’t stop speaking about his amazing counselors, one of them from eretz yisroel and the other one also realy ‘a chasidishe yid’. They got him very ‘bagaistert’ about being a shliach and he can’t wait for next year!
keep bringing more light to this world!!
kol hakavod!
Nice Boruch Hashem!
Thumbs up to the Shluchim Office and to the generous folks who sponsored these kids. Your work is mamash hatzalas nefashos to give the Hevron children a break of normalcy in their embattled lives. And the Camp in general offers tremendous, greatly needed chizuk and inspiration for all the yaldei hashluchim. Moshiach now! I want to meet all the shluchim and their kids personally by the Mikdash Hashlishi to give them a Yasher Koach for their mesiras nefesh in golus!
This program is amazing. Seeing what it means to these young Shluchim is heartwarming!
Keep it up.
