The Siyum Harambam was quickly approaching, and a young Lubavitcher boy was wondering what he could do to take his learning to the next level. How could he encourage other children to learn Sefer Hamitzvos and give them the same excitement he has for learning it each day?
Inspired by Chitas for Kids, MyMaor, and Project Likkutei Sichos videos for kids, Mendel Devlin, six years old from Miami, FL, decided to create a short daily (and cute!) video on the day’s Sefer Hamitzvos.
In Mendel’s own words, “I want to help more kids learn Sefer Hamitzvos and complete their daily mission. And they can give the Rebbe so much nachas.” Mendel made the decision to create a daily Yiddish video, in addition to an English one. He thought perhaps some kids don’t understand English so well, and wants to ensure as many children as possible can be included.
The daily videos can be found on the Mendel D YouTube channel. You can also subscribe to receive the videos on Whatsapp by messaging “join” to (786) 496-2810.
