In the year 5659/1898, the Rebbe Rashab presented the historic and fundemental Maamar of Heichaltzu, a verse in Parshas Matos, which became a corner stone in Chabad Chassidus on the theme of why people have a hard time getting along with each other and what we can do about it.
Over the years, the Rebbe urged many to learn this Maamar. When there was strife in a community in Israel, the Rebbe pleaded with the Rav that everyone in the city should learn this Maamar. In 1987, on the birthday of the Rebbe Rashab, the Rebbe distributed the Maamar to every man and woman over bar/bat mitzvah age.
This Monday morning, Rabbi YY Jacobson begins teaching this maamar live in Monsey, NY, three times a week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 7:45 AM.
