Rabbi Twersky
We need more of you.
Who will fight for our kids who cant sit learn all day?
Someone sent me this.
The Teachers i learnt from, ARE THE ONES WHO CARED.
Not the ones who are smart.
Teachers have to love what they do and live the kids.otherwise they lose the students.
They way to love teaching is to ALLWAYS find new and exciting g ideas to make learning meaningfull.
… what about the fact that Yeshivos employ teachers who simply have absolutely no clue how to teach! The teachers are not trained in teaching, and they are not trained in counselling etc.!
The primary issue is not that Yeshivos only accept lamdonim as students, the main issue is that they only accept teachers who are so called “lamdonim”, notwithstanding their inability to communicate with and successfully teach their students!!! Perhaps the problem is with the mechanchim, not the talmidim!
Are any hanholos of CH mosdos even interested in hearing the honest truth??????
Wow))) Aibistier!!!
He’s a giant of a man a wonderful person outstanding teacher he was my son’s teacher there’s nothing like seeing your son looking forward every day to go to school he just loved him as a teacher A mentor that’s what I call a teacher he should be blessed with long life and good health thank you for being there for my son you made a big difference in his life
“Dvorim HaYotzim Min HaLev….”
Thank you so much Rabbi Twerski for reminding us and showing the way in the spirit of true yiddishkeit and Chassidus Chabad… Ashreichem!
We just had Hilula of Reb Zushe of Anipoli – (Shvat 2)
If not for this very approach to him and his brother Reb Elimelech when they were young boys – would we have their beautiful legacy today?
May we all be zoche to have true yiddishe chassidishe Nachas and to be able to say “Reu Gidulim SheGidalnu”!
T.H. Israel
we need mechanchim like rabbi twerski in our yeshiva!
Bh I was lucky to have rabbi twersky teach 2 of my sons in ot mesivta. He is really such an amazing teacher. Cares about each boy ,appreciates the different strengths of each boy and is a dugma chaya
Thank you, Rabbi Twersky! So true!
Rabbi Twerski spoke excellent why these Bochrim who probably make up almost 70% of the students should not be thrown out of Yeshivas. But what about the curriculum ? Do we really expect these Bochrim to sit 6-7 hours a day learning Gemoro? Why isn’t the curriculum catered to the ability of these boys? Maybe that’s a contributing factor why so many boys leave ? Make the curriculum more interesting by the diversifying the subjects and then you’ve got the perfect system . Hatzlocho
… for these words to be spoken at the library named for the holy Baal Shem Tov. 🙂
Understands and relates to our youth
Wow! And this is what his son has brought to Chicago, the value of each and every single child, we are so blessed to have Rabbi Zalman Twerski at cheder.
