Yeshivas Kayitz Mexico, geared for Bochurim ages 16-18 with a unique Shlichus training approach coupled with an adventurous summer of a lifetime experience, went all out Mivtzoim on the streets of Mexico.
Mivtzoim Director Levi Laber arrived well-prepared for the task at hand, and had special Mivtzoim kits for the Bochurim to take with them on the road as they were traveling across Mexico.
The Bochurim experienced some of Hashem’s most beautiful creations in the deep sea and dry land. Rabbi Mendel Sasson, who is the founder and director of YKMEXICO says: “It was truly uplifting getting out there and seeing Hashem’s beautiful world and the spiritual journey the boys went on when finding lost Jews along the way.”
He adds, “Our boys have proven excellence in their ability and readiness to ‘KER A VELT’ and inspire Yiddin they meet in a matter of minutes, We have effectively channeled the energy of the youth.”
This summer experience has had a lasting effect with many of the participants taking on Hachlatos during the course of the summer to take back home.
Rabbi Sasson, who also runs Yeshivas Bais Schneur adds, “a group of Bochurim didn’t want it to end so we decided to continue into the school year and opened a Mesivta Shiur Gimmel Program which would cater to their age group and needs.”
