Following an adventurous summer of ’21 Yeshivas Kayitz Mexico AKA YKMexico revamps with 2 gears: “At Home” and “On the road” and is ready for a summer loaded with personal growth and awesome new experiences.
Spend your mornings bringing Jews back to their roots, and afternoons on trips, and tours of the country! This summer-of-a-lifetime experience is focused on Chassidisher Shlichus training and providing our Bochurim with the experience of what it takes to live on Shlichus.
In the words of YKMexico Founder and Director Rabbi Mendel Sasson: “I saw the need for a Yeshivas Kayitz which would give a Bochur a meaningful and fun summer with the focus of becoming a giver.
“After our first summer we’ve learned a lot and are ever more ready for our action packed summer ahead,” he adds.
The 2 gears consist of:
(1) “At Home” Based out of Guadalajara, Mexico, their home base is located in breathtaking 5-star grounds and is fully loaded with many great amenities, some of these include a state-of-the-art gym, full size swimming pool, soccer field, tennis courts, Sauna, Game room, and more! As their Base and starting point the Bochurim will learn all about Shlichus, from its Spiritual significance to the very practical aspect of creating a wellspring of Yiddishkeit miles away from a Frum community of Yiddin.
(2) “On the Road” The Bochurim will be traveling to different Shluchim across Mexico to Farbreng with them and hear first-hand their experiences on Shlichus. They will be doing Mivtzoim with the local Jews along the way and of course adventurous trips in some of the most beautiful places on earth.
Sasson notes, “Our program is intended for Bochurim who are ready to take their Yiddishkeit to the next Level, Becoming Powerful Foot Soldiers in the Rebbe’s Army”
They will be announcing their team of Staff in the coming weeks.
The Yeshivas Kayitz is under the leadership of Rabbi Mendel Sasson, Co-founder of Yeshivas Bais Schneur and Rabbi Avrohom Srugo Head Shliach of Guadalajara, Mexico.
