One of the newest and fastest growing overnight camps is Yeshivas Kayitz Kingston. Building on previous successful summer programs held in Tannersville, NY, the camp moved to its own home, in Kingston NY in 2015. The camp grounds span over 120 acres with over 30 buildings, swimming pool, lakes, multiple sports courts and fields.
With the purchase of the camp grounds, under the auspices of Educational Institute Oholei Torah, the camp has catered to hundreds of young talmidim, from all over the states and beyond.
Since moving to Kingston, many community members and parents have generously contributed to improve and renovate areas of the camp, in order to give the campers the very best summer experience, in a most comfortable and modern facilities.
Last year a new canteen building was built, which included full fleishig and milchik kitchen facilities, with generous space to enjoy and purchase snacks. Over the past few months, the dining hall and central kitchen have received extensive renovations. Some of the projects included an insulated designed ceiling and install central air-conditioning throughout the entire main building.
Plans are underway to begin in the spring for improvements in the sports courts, swimming pool and classrooms, and more.
The zals have been upgraded with new furnishings, a grand Aaron Kodesh. Many new seforim have been made available for the talmidim, including a library of seforim of chassidish stories and lighter reading material for the time spent outside of zal.
During the upcoming summer, an official inauguration of the campus will be held, with awards to be given out to the long list of supporters who have made dedications throughout the campus grounds and buildings.
Under the leadership of Rabbi Yisroel Levertov, Camp Director, many parents and campers have grown to admire the quality of the camp, both B’gashmius and B’ruchnius. Rabbi Moshe Silman, Mashpia, has agreed to lead the learning program again this year, and the camp faculty positions are quickly being filled for the upcoming season.
Members of the Board of Directors of Oholei Torah have invested much time and effort, as they see Yeshivas Kayitz Kingston as an important role for the young campers giving them a safe and conducive environment where the summer time is spent in a positive manner, which has lasting effects in the young lives of the campers.

My son had an amazing summer there!! Kol Hakavod to everyone that has spent time and energy on making this a great program. There arent many options for summer programs once boys hit 8th grade, and this is very much needed!
