Five years ago, Yeshivas Dor Shvi’i began with a vision — to create a place where bochurim could grow with depth, clarity, and a strong sense of who they are.
Today, that vision has taken a tangible step forward. With the move to a new, beautiful one-acre campus, the yeshiva has quite literally planted roots.
“When I started this yeshiva five years ago, I couldn’t have imagined we would be where we are now,” reflects Leibish Richardson, Founder and Director. “To see the growth — not just in numbers, but in the bochurim themselves — is something incredibly meaningful.”
And the growth is continuing.
Yeshivas Dor Shvi’i is preparing to double in size next year — a reflection of the strong demand for what the yeshiva has built. At the heart of that growth is a carefully cultivated balance.
“Our goal has always been to create a yeshiva that truly sees each bochur as an individual,” says Rabbi Ben Bursk, Menahel. “At the same time, we are deeply committed to maintaining the chassidishe standards and structure of a strong, mainstream mesivta. It’s not one or the other — it’s both, together.”
That balance — personal understanding alongside clear expectations — has become a defining part of the culture at YDS.
“What truly sets Dor Shvi’i apart is the relationship between the staff and each bochur,” says Rabbi Mottel Zirkind, Head of Iyun. “When a talmid knows he is understood, supported, and genuinely cared for, it transforms the entire way he learns and grows.”
As the yeshiva continues to grow, so does its commitment to that mission. YDS is currently looking to expand its team with the following dedicated positions, both offering competitive pay and a relocation bonus:
Maggid Shiur (Iyun) – Capable of delivering clear, structured, and engaging לימוד
Mashpia – Warm, patient, and hands-on, with the ability to build strong relationships and inspire bochurim in Chassidus
Growth is happening — but it is happening with care, intention, and a clear sense of purpose. As the yeshiva continues to expand, few spots remain in Shiur Alef and Shiur Beis.
