A large crowd attended the Levaya of Charles Nassofer obm, a fixture of Chabad life in the Crown Heights neighborhood who was affectionately known as Charlie Buttons, as it passed by 770 Eastern Parkway on Friday. A yellow balloon adorned the aron as he is remembered for bringing joy to many Simchas.

Seem right that it is raining…..stay strong….and let us all welcome the Holy Shabbos with a laugh in memory of the Great Charlie Buttons…stay safe, stay strong and remember we all have One Father
Who decided his Hebrew name was tzadik?
Maybe it was tzadok?
His name was always Tzadik. He got the Levi aliya by that name HUNDREDS of times in 770.
I’ve seen him get an Aliyah in 770, and that’s the name he said. I think he was a Levi, by the way.
Thank you for all the True Simcha you gave to our community!May His Neshama have an Aliya and May we see him with the coming of Moshiach Now!!
