Habochur Hatomim Yehuda Leib Greenwald, born and raised in Melbourne, Australia and who lived in Crown Heights for the past many years, passed away on Monday, 5 Iyar, 5784.
He was 36 years old.
With his infectious smile and radiant joy Yehudah Leib would light up any room he walked into. Forever positive and full of life, Yehuda Leib always had a good word to say and lived to make a fellow yid happy. Yehudah Leib was synonymous with gemilas chasodim, always willing and able to do another person a favor. An active member of The Chabad House of Crown Heights, directed by Rabbi Chaim Pil, he participated in many regular shiurim, minyanim and farbrengens.
He is survived by his parents, Nosson and Bela, and siblings Rochel Leah, Chaim, Chana, Sholom Ber, Brocha and Miriam.
The Levaya will take place on Tuesday, passing by 770 at 9:40am SHARP
The kevurah will take place at Montefiore Cemetery at 10:30am.

He would deliver the Baigels order every morning to our school. He never failed to have a smile and be happy. It’s rare You meet a person like that. Very sad news indeed.

I only met Yehudah a handful of times, but I have no qualms in saying that he was one of the most kindest, sweetest, and beautiful souls that I have ever known!
He truly radiated positive energy through and through!
