Thursday, 2 Cheshvan, marks the yartzeit of Rabbi Aaron Leizer Ceitlin OBM, a beloved Shliach of the Rebbe to Israel who has impacted thousands around the world.
Rabbi Ceitlin, who tragically passed away last year at the age of 62, has inspired many through his friendly demeanour, teachings and stories he shared and the trips he organized to the Rebbe.
Last night, his widow Ruti Ceitlin and children were joined by friends and admirers as they married off his youngest child, Heshy Ceitlin to Chaya Kalmenson at a joyous wedding in Crown Heights.
Today, the family will be visiting his gravesite at the Old Montefiore Cemetery in Cambria Heights, Queens.
Women and girls will mark the yartzeit on Thursday 8:00 PM with a farbrengen at 1468 President Street, with a guest speaker.
Men are invited to join a Siyum on learning Hilchos Deos in Rambam at the main shul of 770 Eastern Parkway on Thursday, 10:30 PM.
Leading the farbrengen will be Rabbi Dovid Meir Drukman, Rabbi of Kiryat Mochkin in Israel and an in-law of Rabbi Ceitlin.
