October is an exciting time in the Bronx whenever the Yankees begin the playoffs. This year, Rabbi Choli Mishulovin of Chabad of the South Bronx arranged tens of bochurim to greet the crowds coming to see the game.
As the thousands of fans came through, Rabbi Levi Shemtov came with his son Yossi and friends from Riverdale with the sukkah mobile and parked right in front of the stadium entrance.
It was a great success and bochurim were also able to grab a snack at the Chabad South Bronx location, just minutes away from the stadium. The sukkah was sponsored by friends of the late Jerry Schein OBM who grew up in the Bronx and worked at Yankee Stadium for over 40 years.
