Yakira Bella, a trendy yet modest fashion company, was founded by Emily Gerszberg in 2019.
The name Yakira means precious and Bella means beautiful, and Emily started this company with the ambition of offering women who dress modestly a fairly priced, comprehensive fashion and lifestyle experience, focusing on their unique requirements.
Yakira Bella offers beautiful trendy and fashion pieces, as well as those precious go-to core items that get revisited multiple times a week.
The company’s lifestyle experience reflects the broad interests that Emily embodies in her personal life: Fashion, Interior Design, Art, and most importantly, Wellness, she says.
Over the last year, the company has grown to include a strong social media and online presence, with 4 successful retail stores and a thriving wholesale business across the US, Europe and Latin America.
“Building on my interior design passion and experience, I have endeavored to create a fun and unique shopping experience in my stores,” Emily says. “The stores feel fresh, young, and fun!”
The Cedarhurst location is the flagship store with its own unique design which is different from all other locations, she notes.
“Overall Yakira Bella provides an enjoyable shopping experience and great customer service in person and online,” Emily says.
Inside, expect to find great clothing design in line with Zara prices and trends. “Think Zara with a modest twist!”
Despite being only 2 years old, the collections are surprisingly broad, offering active/sporty elements, trendy dresses, and mix and match fashion separates versatile enough to be worn in multiple ways to create the perfect look for every occasion.
These fashion-forward trends balanced with core basics create the perfect wardrobe for women who choose to dress modestly.
