A new initiative has been launched, which is based on a Mishnayos Baal Peh program that the Frierdiker Rebbe instituted in the time of World War II.
At that time, the entire Mishnayos was divided into lots of about 50 Mishnas. Those who signed up to participate were added to a goral lottery that determined which lot he would receive. Once allotted a set of Mishnayos, one would learn one Mishna a week.
At the end of the year, a Siyum was held.
The Frierdiker Rebbe taught that those that joined and learn the Mishnayos receive great brachos and a special protection, as well they create a special protection for all of Klal Yisroel.
In light of the current situation in the world, organizers are restarting this program as the “Purify the Air” project.
The restarting of the program has received endorsements from Badatz Rabbi Yosef Braun, Conejo Shliach Rabbi Moshe Bryski and Mashpia Rabbi Sholom Charitonov.
Sign-up at PurifyTheAir.org. The Chalukah and Goirel will take place on ב׳ אייר.

There are several times in Hayom Yom where the Rebbe emphasizes the importance and I am at total loss why we don’t take this initiative more seriously. I took upon myself a couple of years ago to do as many Mishanyos as I can by heart and post them on Instagram with a Hashtag of #airpurificationproject but didn’t realize that the items get lost… Read more »
