i sincerely hope they will only sell to a frum jew and not chas vshalom a non jew that may desecrate the sefer by displaying it in a bais avoda zara.

its the oldest (almost) compleat tanach missing only 12 pages but the actual oldest in existence today would be the Aleppo Codex.

(of course not counting the dead sea scrolls which I’m not sure you could count as a tanach)

Why are they touching it?
Not supposed to touch ancient paper with hands since acid damages paper .
Plus against Halakah Laws.
