A new luxury 5-star resort with world-class amenities for women, including Kimpatorin (new mothers) and their newborn infants, is the newest addition to Lakewood’s rapidly expanding Jewish community. Designed to meet the needs of the active Jewish woman and the daily rigors of managing a household, the impressive new Women’s center is already receiving rave reviews. Aptly named La Isha (Hebrew for “The Woman”), the resort is nestled amongst tall trees and lush tranquil gardens that is the perfect setting for maximum relaxation.
La Isha offers new mothers a respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday urban living, the chance to truly be pampered and to relax. La Isha’s elegant 5-star accommodation is a paradigm of distinction, including luxurious, beautifully furnished guestrooms and suites; an eat-in kosher dining room; a 24-hour bistro area; and a charming wrap-around deck overlooking the property’s picturesque lake. The only facility of its kind in Lakewood, La Isha offers women a unique experience, with an everlasting effect.
The Women’s Center is an ideal facility to recover and transit to the routines of everyday life, after childbirth or post surgery. While newborns are cared for in the 24-hour nursery, mothers can recharge their batteries and regain their full health and strength. A highly professional and well-trained staff is on call to provide a high level of care that is on par with services provided at luxurious hotels. Amongst the programs that are offered at La Isha are postpartum classes and support services such as lactation consultation to ensure that mothers can relax without the any concerns post birth.
“As a doula (birthing coach), I saw a serious lack of options for mothers who had just given birth,” says Mrs. Avigail Cohen of La Isha. She added: “There are very few post-partum centers, certainly with this level of care, for recovery and retreat. New mothers were no longer moving into their parents homes; the overwhelming majority were forced to recover at home while caring for their large families just days after delivery.” Mrs. Cohen ended by saying that, “It has taken a great deal of planning, but we are really excited that we are now able to fulfill the unmet needs of the community with the opening of La Isha. and to provide 5-star services.”
Phase two of the project will include a women’s spa for women looking for an extended getaway, a day of indulgence or to treat someone special. The spa will feature spacious treatments rooms; a gym outfitted with a full range of cardio and fitness equipment; daily exercise classes with highly trained professionals; an enclosed Olympic-sized pool and hot tub; a wet/dry sauna and juice bar. In addition, the complex will play host to a Simcha Hall for the local Lakewood community.

Does anyone know what this costs? I know a lovely lady who would benefit greatly from this. Thank you.
from what I hear- in private rooms, you can have the baby as much as you want.
Yes I would love to go if I can have my baby in the room…. also the ones in monroe and new square are run by chassisishe, but lubavtich and Lakewood style ladies are also welcome, I went and really enjoyed.
And while we are all Jews, the lakewood style is also different style than lubavitch, and I doubt lubavitchers are opening one up.
wow! Looks gorgeous! happy that there is now a Kimpatorin that is not only for the Boro Park/ Williamsburg ladies.
Is there an option to room in with the baby? 24-hour nursery care is not ideal for mother-baby bonding.
I’m a new mom. Is there a website for pics and more info?
