Torah, Jewish home, Chinuch and skills – these are the four themes that the iLearn summer learning program for women in Crown Heights will be focusing on through lectures and workshops.
Beginning this Monday, July 2 – Tammuz 12, iLearn will be offering classes for women and single girls of all ages and levels at The Bayit on 556 Crown Street.
For those that are not in the neighborhood, there will be an option to participate online by registering in advance at machonchana.org.
The July program is offering:
ilearn Torah with a full morning and nightly classes, offering you learning, doses of inspiration and knowledge in fascinating classes taught by great teachers!
Mornings (10:00 – 1:00)
Tfilla with Sara Lieberman (Tuesday & Thursday @ 11:00 AM) Uncovering deeper meaning in our prayers. Understanding Psukei Dezimrah is a key to our appreciating Hashem and the gifts we were given.
Mishlei: Shlomo Hamelech’s Aishes chayil with Tzameret Boriowitz (Tuesday & Thursday @ 11:00 AM) An in-depth textual study in Shlomo Hamelechs Aishes chayil to rediscover and appreciate the role of a woman.
Jewish History with Ella Lerman (Mondays @ 11:00 am) Jewish history reveals great Torah giants and personalities. This class will focus on the era of the Achronim and their myriad contributions within the framework of the post inquisition era.
Birkas Hanehenim: with Rabbi Mendel Levin (Monday @ 10:00 AM) Join this class to understand and clarify the hundreds of halachos involved in making brochos and bentching.
Tanya with Leah Schapiro (Tuesday & Thursdays @ 12:00PM) Why should we judge others favorably and how we can be happy through challenging circumstances? This class is a textual study of select chapters of Tanya addressing these questions and more.
Sichos with Faigy Yusevitz ( Monday & Wednesday @ 12:00 PM) Engross in the ornately woven tapestries that are the Rebbe’s beautiful sichos.
Moshiach UGeulah with Sterna Krinsky Wednesday @ 11:00 AM) A comprehensive study of the Rambams Hilchos Milachim as elucidated by the Rebbe’s Sichos.
Parsha with Chanie Wolf (Wednesday @ 10:00am) Illuminated with the Rebbes amazing genius, we will derive incredible lessons to take with us throughout the week.
Evenings (7:00-9:00 PM)
Maamar Mitzvas Ahavas Yisroel , Derech Mitzvoshecha with Rochel Chana Riven (Tuesday & Thursday @ 7:00 PM). What is Chassidus, if the main quality — Ahavas Yisroel — is lacking?
Learn maamarim in a guided partnered study with Leah Abraham (Monday & Wednesday @ 7:00 pm) Here’s an opportunity to sit and study in a Bais Medrash with a chevrusa ? To feel the stimulation of “getting it” on your own without being spoon fed?
Hilchos Shabbos with Rabbi Shmuel Bluming (Tuesday & Wednesday @ 8:00pm) The halachic intricacies of the mtzvos of Muktza (on Tuesdays) and Borer ( on Wednesdays) ..
The Rebbes View on… with Chanie Wolf (Thursday @ 8:00 PM) Topics will include Parnasa – is college the answer and will it really affect my (my kids) Chassidishkeit, Geulah Protis – reaching beyond our limitations and living a life centered on the Aibishter, Shlichus & Me and The Balancing Act for working mothers.

ilearn Singles much needed, highly valued hashkafa, Shidduchim guidance & insights inf bitachon and emunah.
iLearn Married Communication, Sholom Bayis guidance & Taharas Hamishpacha review
iLearn 40 – from shidduchim for your kids, developing healthy relationships with your daughters and sons in laws, being there for your elderly parents.
These classes are featuring great speakers including Chana Epstein, Sara Karmely, Brocha Chein, Sara Labkowski and others.
Monday & Thursday 9:00 PM – iLearn Chinuch
The impact of the home atmosphere on our kids lives and futures with Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld. Getting back into the Drivers’ seat with Molly Resnik. It takes a Shtetl to raise a Jewish Child with Sara Labkowski.

iLearn Beauty (Mondays 8:00 PM) Learn the A to Z of makeup with Sara Hecht, Nail Tips with Candice Smith, and Caring for your Sheitel with Anat Chazan.
iLearn Culinary Arts (Tuesdays 9:00 PM) Fruit and vegetable Platters with Bracha Friedman, Learn how to Bake Challah with the Maven, Devorah Heller. Cupcake Decorating with Esther Weitzner and Healthy Cooking with Zelda Advocat.

when and what time is this workshop? it wasnt clear in the article
how will the program work, it doesnt say when the guest speakers will be talking, like sarah karmely, etc. and what their topics will be. please make it alittle more clear. thank you
can we join just for a few classes here and there, or must we sign up for the whole program only?
