Ramat Beit Shemesh Anglo N’shei Chabad saw 40 women from across the city join together at the home of Mrs. Hindy Lewis to celebrate Yud Tes Kislev on Monday night.
Guest speaker was Mrs. Shoshana Judelman of Efrat, a renowned seminary teacher and experienced Holocaust tour guide, who works with Yad Vashem and leads tours to Poland. She inspired the audience with her insights into the Altere Rebbe and in particular Tanya, drawing parallels between the lessons from Tanya and the world today. Most significantly, using Yud Tes Kislev as a platform she gave chizuk to the ladies, many of whom have family and friends serving in the IDF.
Mrs. Leah Lipsey distributed her beautifully crafted cards with Tehillim inserts for the ladies to write messages to our chayalim.
Tehillim was led by Rebbetzin Bracha Farro, and as the ladies enjoyed a sumptuous meat dinner, they took part in a lighthearted “how well do you know the Alter Rebbe?” quiz. Our next event will be in Shvat and we look forward to commemorating all the month’s significant Chabad days with the RBS community.
