What about our own teens?
June 10, 2018 10:38 am

Why are own being forgotten?? Where are the programs for our teens and older who are leaving yiddishkeit? Why does crown heights not have a chabad house for so many who are feel lost and have questions?? So nice to send to the farthest places on Earth where there are barely any Jews but right in our community there are hundreds who also need a shliach. When will you do something about this?

I understand were nu 2 and nu 3 are coming from but it is a special zechos to bring them close to the beauty of yiddishkeit and I have a lot of tb friends and I feel that they are very happy with who they are and now you do have mayonot shul in crown heights run by the silvers and they make them feel very comfortable and my parents are bt and I never heard them complain that they did not feel comfortable around ffbs

My secular friends were true friends, that I gave up for religion. Once I became religious and turned my life upside down all my frum friends weren’t actually friends.… Read more »

I hear this message a lot. It seems that to the people we reach out to, we definitely do a great job in caring, loving, and making them feel like they belong. My issue is that when they become frum and part of the community, that is when we discriminate against them. Now the title BT is hit upon them. all of a sudden Shidduchim becomes an issue. FFBs only want to date other FFBs etc. BH I am an FFB but still, have problems in the community. I feel very left out, not part of the community, and not… Read more »
