A standing room only crowd packed Oholei Torah Motzei Shabbos for Hatzalah’s annual event and raffle.
The winner for the $18,000 grand prize was Sara Simpson from Crown Heights.
Participants enjoyed a hot buffet, sushi bar and wine tasting.
The MC for the evening was Hatzalah Coordinator Yossi Friedman, and speakers included Pamela S. Brier, Lorren Harris MD and Danielle Laraque MD, of Maimonides Medical Center, as well as community doctors Dr. Eli Rosen and Dr. Robert Feldman.
Singers Avraham Fried and Yoni Zigelboum performed, accompanied by Benshimon.
The annual raffle supports the Hatzalah organization of Crown Heights.
Were ladies part of this event?

Yasher Koach to Yitzchok Rimler and all the Hatzala members for their total dedication and devotion !!
To his wife, Doba, who supports his holy work 24/7 !!!!!
Rabbi Simpson, thank you also so much for what you are doing for our dear children as principal and administrator of the lubavitcher Yeshiva – you run the Yeshiva with such dignity and respect
How amazing that the daughter of one of the FIRST Hatzoloh members in CH (and now also one of the coordinators of hatzoloh) won on the grnad prize. Rabbi Yossie Simpson is so devoted in so many areas in CH he deserves a real yasher Koach for all he is doing for our community. Rabbi Simpson is out of town a bris of an ainekel. May he continue to have many simchos. Thank you Rabbi Simpson
Ben’s looking good!!
Mamosh tzadikim mosrei nefesh
But, I want to say, that the women were really relegated to the back here. The HUGE sushi bar was in the men’s section. Avraham fried got up to sing, and there was no way for the women to see. There were projectors for the slide shows, but no one thought enough to have A F singing for the ladies too… I bought my raffle tickets the same way the men did…
Go Sarah !!!
No-one beats Benshimon. When he plays at weddings, I feel like I just have to dance even though I’m not a dancer.
Peretz Gutnick! Great boy!
I don’t know his name, but boruch Hashem at least SOMEONE still wears a blue shirt!!!!
who is the boy in the 5th picture in the blue shirt?
Look at those guys with the radios on the table.
I am so happy that they had such a good turnout.
My husband told me it was packed and I see that he wasn’t exagerating
thank you hatzalah for all that you do
may Hashem bentch us that no one needs refuah of any kind because all are well because we’ll be living in Yimos Hamoshiach NOW
