As we approach the thirty first yartzeit of our dear and revered Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Shnneerson O.B.M., we are reminded of her powerful legacy that has influenced generations to come.
At the Rebbetzin’s shloshim commemoration, which coincided with the groundbreaking ceremony for the Associated Beth Rivkah School’s sprawling new Campus Chomesh (representing the Rebbetzin’s holy initials), respect was paid to the her everlasting impact on Klal Yisroel.
On the way to the Ohel, the Rebbe graced this event with his holy presence unannounced, to the surprise and awe of those in attendance. There, the Rebbe summoned Rabbi Avraham Shemtov, director of Beth Rivkah, and handed him $470 corresponding to the numerical value of the Rebbetzin’s esteemed name.
The Rebbe added that he is on the way to visit the resting place of the Rebbetzin, and this donation is on his, and the Rebbetzin’s behalf.
The Rebbe’s participation in continuing the Rebbetzin’s legacy is abundantly clear, and it is by her z’chus that Beth Rivkah has blossomed into an institution of over 2,200 students, future community leaders, Yiddishe mothers, and b’nos Yisroel. B’hashgacha pratis, the street address for Campus Chomesh is also 470!
Those that would like to participate on this auspicious occasion to the continued growth of Beth Rivkah with a donation of $470 (or any variation of these numbers), can do so at www.bethrivkah.edu/shevat22
All who participate in this worthy cause can include their name and their mother’s name (in addition to any family members), as they will be included in a p’an to be read at the Ohel.
Not only will participants have the z’chus of a great mitzvah, but they will also be included in the many brachos that have graced Beth Rivkah since the Rebbe made his donation thirty one years ago!
May we merit to see the fulfilment of the Rebbe’s wish for the .גאולה שלימה ע״י משיח צדקינו בקרוב ממש
