Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, we appreciate you!
It’s actually against the law to not accept cash in NYC.
Why would you want the person handling your food (with or without gloves) to be touching something so unsanitary such as cash?
Thank you for responding to this video.
The link below may help you understand why we chose to go this route for the time being.
Thanks for understanding!

We live in a high crime hood
I was recommended going to the shop throughout the summer, and didn’t have a card, only cash. I was sent away due to the card policy, so I thought, “No problem, I’ll go home and order online, and by the time I get there the pizza will be ready.” I couldn’t order through the website for some weird reason, the phone didn’t work, so I scrambled for a card and went back there (10 minute walk each way). I finally put in my order and had to wait an hour, yes, an hour, for my pizza to be ready. I… Read more »

Also it’s actually illegal in NYC to not accept cash as payment.
You have a good point, and we are currently looking into this decision.

Our cashless decision was not to inconvenience the customer but on the contrary to make things more seamless.
I too will share a link that may help you better understand another reason why we chose this route for now.
Thank you for your time and understanding!
I wrote a comment with a whole story yesterday on how I had to wait over an hour for my pizza, but it wasn’t posted (probably due to bias purposes). In short, I was sent away for only having cash and tried calling and ordering online, but didn’t get in contact with anyone. The pizza was / is delicious, no doubt about it, but the cash thing doesn’t make sense.
If Collive will grow up and post my original comment, you would see the whole story and understand.
Your 1st comment was posted above.
Thanks for taking the time to post your experience, I responded above but will do so again in the event that you missed my response for your previous comment.
I apologize for your loss then pleasant experience, I’d like to correct this if you would expect.
Please email me at [email protected] so that I can issue you a refund.
