Mrs. Rochel Flikshtein (nee Sugarman) was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware where her parents and siblings were one of the founding families of Chabad in Delaware and are pillars of Chabad and the local Jewish community.
In 2010, she moved back to Delaware with her husband Rabbi Motti Flikshtein to serve as program directors for Chabad of Delaware. Rochel runs Jewish Women Connected, a program designed to connect Jewish women from all different backgrounds through Jewish themes and community projects.
Rochel also runs the Loaves of Love program in Delaware, where women learn about the spirituality behind the mitzvah of challah while baking their very own loaves.
