Generalizations are not helpful. Though this individual stands with Israel, He has made sweeping remarks about Islam that can never be helpful. I am Jewish, and am one who has a defensive response when Israel is blamed for the problems in that area; however, I think to make such a sweeping negative statement about any group is in bad form, if not ignorant. Has he ever met a Muslim who was very peaceful and spiritual? He should seek out such a person and then express himself with more accurate and articulate words.
Tom Trento is a great guy, but there is a person in Crown Heights who is ‘Trento on steroids’ and a Super individual and chossid. His name is Rabbi Dovid Yerushalmi Esq. He fights Sharia Law in the courts for a living and does great work with the Thomas More Law Center.
In principle the man is right but the part about a “lone Israeli soldier” risking his life is simply untrue…..

The tea party as a whole is very pro Israel, I talk to Tom Trento and other tea party activists all the time…
