Is there a parenting approach out there that’s compatible with a Lubavitch lifestyle?
I’m looking for an up-to-date parenting approach with timeless values.
Help! I’ve read so many books and been to far too many classes. I’m challenged finding an approach that strikes a balance between being understanding enough of my child, without being permissive. Allowing them to grow into their role as Lubavitchers, without completely dismissing all of the important values I’m trying to share.
Is there anything out there that can give me the guidelines and a method that has the best of both? Space for children to grow & explore, positive encouragement, and yet, healthy boundaries that can create a calm, joyful, Chassidic atmosphere in my home?
In searching for this, we found Rivky Friedman, A Certified Nurtured Heart Approach trainer who adapts her classes to reflect our Lubavitch values.
She calls it, “Nurturing Yiddishe Hearts.”
She is in Crown Heights for a two part series which begins this Wednesday.
This class is being offered at Miriam’s Motherhood Center for the very first time, after many requests for parenting classes with up to date methods and timeless values.
The two part class begins Wednesday night, 8PM. To find out more and to sign up, click here.
Advance reservation required!
May we all merit to raise Chassidim, healthy in mind, body and soul, with an approach that brings out the best in all members of our families.
