One has to understand, they are not just bochurim, as you write in the article. They are actually shluchim of the Rebbe, that were sent to a yeshivah in Florida, bringing yiddishkeit and chasidishkeit to the bochurim there. And on top of all of that, they sit and learn, b’shkidah ubihsmada. Then traveling, not just walking downstairs to their zall, just to hear shiurim. Every morning I pass through 2 cities on the bus; in Bnei Brak people daven shacharit, in Ramat Gan they pull out their smartphones and waste time on so called ‘social’ media. We need to reinforce to this generation (and to ourselves!!) that every minute is precious!! I also think that over time our generation has developed a difficulty with concentration. Everything is so fast paced, instant satisfaction that it’s become more difficult to focus on anything longer than a few minutes. Hashem should send us lots of koach to overcome today’s challenges to yiddishkeit
