What does it mean to love a fellow Jew just the same as you? What does it mean to be born into a kingdom of priests and a holy nation? What does it mean to be part of one family, with one heart and one soul? What does it mean to be a Jew?
It means that when tragedy strikes we strike harder! It means that when one of us is broken all of us unite together to make it better!
This past Shabbos, Hashem’s holy day, as we read how Moshe Rabbeinu could not fathom life after death, could not conceive of purity after the incomprehensible impurity of a soul passing, the neshama of Mrs. Batya BarChaim was returned to her Maker. And a family in our community sits low in ripped clothing.
The Maker reclaimed the breath of life He imbued into Batya, and the BarChaim family mourns.
As Moshe Rabbeinu taught us, though we cannot understand how it’s possible to live on after the passing of a loved one, it nevertheless is a chok, an axiomatic statue that even in the greatest pain we Jews persevere stronger, ignite lighter, and live better.
Tragedy strikes. And we, Hashem’s children, strike harder!
To support the Bar Chaim family, the entire Crown Heights family and global family of Jewish brothers and sisters unite together to raise souls, raise spirits, raise hearts, and raise funds in this highly trying time.
The bills and costs are astronomical. You, I, we will do our part to strike harder and lighter than any darkness!
Go NOW to https://www.charidy.com/barchaim. After you donate with an open heart and an open hand, please share this with at least 10 friends or family members. The need is urgent and the Mitzvah is great!
Administered under the auspices of trusted authorities, The Bar Chaim Family Fund will help alleviate the crushing financial burden that the family faces now and in the days to come. As one community, one family, one people, together you and I will raise a minimum of $250,000 and help comfort our brothers and sisters in need.
With heavy hearts we will make it light!
This campaign is facilitated with love by the Charidy family who mourn together, forever support, and are eternally there for one another.
