I was told the same thing, and apparently it’s a directive from the Frierdiker Rebbe who used to do that even when staying months in the same place.

When I was away for shlichus I was told to say tefillas haderech every day bli shem umalchus because I was only there temporarily (1-2 years). Is this accurate?

Do we say tefillas hsderech with Hashem’s name on the return flight? According to footnote 12, I guess we don’t. Also what is the rule for vesachzireini, only on the way there?

I drive 50 minutes to work every day and it involves travel on a highway between cities. Do I need to say tefillas haderech every day?
