Thank You.

See Pesachim 3, Lekutei Sichos: Chelek 10 Parshas Noach.

A (possible) adaption from the Sicha: If your initial reaction is that you want to resolve the problem. than you were not looking to see problems. If you just see problems for no purpose than that is reflecting on yourself.

The Gemara says: the Torah adds extra letters to speak nicely. The Gemara asks: We do find that the Torah says words that aren’t “nice” The above Sicha discusses this.

(Also note the very end of Perek 32 of Tanya. Although I’m not sure if that is related)

About the article that is great.

There is nothing to add or exclude. There is only a lot to think about.

Wow, well SAID...

Thanks for speaking… UP (so-to-speak), Rabbi ;). L’chaim, and continue to keep the netzach and chesed coming! I appreciate receiving your Collive contribution each Friday afternoon to help usher the mind and soul into Shabbos. I’ll be reading this OUT LOUD to my family tonight at the Shabbos table…along with the obligatory Shabbos joke, of course:). G-d bless and gut Shabbos, Jeff

Time to speak up

“They came first for the Rubashkin, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t Chabad ..Then they came for the Alle, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Satmar, and then when they came for me, there was no one to speak up.

What happened to Rubashkin can happen to anyone. The lesson of this weeks parsha is to go justiceforsholom.org sign the petition, and sign up to help.

The Poem

One can understand the message of the poem that the focus was placed improperly on himself rather than the other.
