Some WhatsApp users around the globe are reporting problems connecting to the popular messaging service, USA Today reported.
The outage began around 9:30 a.m. EST. The service which is owned by Facebook is working for other users, according to Down Detector.
“Some people have had trouble accessing WhatsApp today,” WhatsApp said in an emailed statement. “We’re working to restore service back to 100% for everyone and we apologize for the inconvenience.”
New Year’s Eve is an especially busy time of year for WhatsApp. Last year 54 billion messages were sent that day, USA Today reported.
I love whatsapp
Daily Rebbe videos can come in everyday from JEM or “daily Rebbe video”
We have a group for our tehillim. Each time we have a few minutes to spare, we check the previous message and say the next few kaptillah.
It is also a tool that can be used by “stronger” members of a family to bully around the “weaker” ones.
The same applies to other groups.
Smarter people have been deleting this app from their phones and could not be happier.
Sometimes Whatsapp is a wonderful tool to connect Chabad family members who are dispersed around the globe! Beautiful modern innovation of being able to spread nachas and good news with ease!
Excuse me but using your phone while you’re eating out is rude
Why do u need to contact someone who isn’t there with u
It can’t wait till later ?
You know what numbers 4 and 6, it may sound funny, and we could have a laugh, but sadly its so true:(
Get whats app back up! i don’t want to speak to people face to face! just dont know how to do it!! so awkward!
I understand your sarcasm although you must realize that even when people are sitting within close proximity to one another such as in a restaurant, it would be rude to call someone else on the phone. In such situations, whatsapp allows a person to text someone outside the restaurant more conveniently than through email. With Whatsapp, no one can be considered rude or inconsiderate.
Oh no! We might actually have to talk to each other.
The members of our Crown Heights Chevra Kadisha communicate via WhattsApp to coordinate funerals. May their services not be needed during this outage (or even afterwards).
And I kept thinking it was my Internet connection
Random to find this on col… Does it have any even remote connection to lubavitch? 😉
