Shalach
Actually it’s Sh’lach
will be going to marketplace and getting a bunch of yapchiks and give them out with a bottle. done
What in the world is yapchik?
Potato filled Meat.
Ready to eat.
It’s similar to kugel and cholent.
Nothing rhymes with cholent
Much cheaper there.
I let my kids have the fun. I don’t spend for me and my husband. We just do the Mitzvah, but ppl come over and hang out and we chill ☺️
I personally don’t spend on Purim either.
I just go to the park. So me and my husband can gossip about all the dorky costumes. I mean what else are parents supposed to do while swinging their children on the swings
Really brilliant and profound I am impressed 👍
I will not be giving more than two. I do not need wafer rolls or wine. Instead I encouraged my family to donate to Shmulik Amar. HE NEEDS OUR HELP! Chasidim Ein Mishpacha.

Last year I got raisens with celery and the next day I got a raise in salary
Real funny 😂
Already on a regular purim we are rushed to fulfill 4 commandments in 1 day. How much more so on erev shabbos. The rush will be more felt so keeping it simple yet main thing is to fulfill our commandments. Happy Purim!
Wine and chocolate every year.
As the Rebbe did (mostly)
Homentach, fruit (orange) a btl of alcohol. Shoin genug.
There used to be a time I went all out. After it was over I saw I spent more than 1500$. It’s silly, it wasn’t meant to be like that.
Response to the comment about it being Friday a short day with so much more to do. Gladly we change the clock this Motzie Shabbos, we have an extra hour
בחסד חסדו חינם מהקב״ה
Happy Purim y’all be safe !!!
You spend all the money in the world on an esrog, you pay a premium for ershte oiven matzeh, etc etc
This is a mitzvah that makes other people happy and builds friendships too, so why skimp out?
would you rather people waste money on nonsense?
What if you don’t have so much money to spend? And super expensive Pesach is around the corner …
Imagine that $1500 going to charity There are smarter ways to build friendships instead of giving candies and food that so much goes to waste.
A Freilichin Purim !!!
As it is said a kosherin Purim a Freilichin Pesach
I think my grandpa may he rest in peace might’ve made that up years ago! He’d always say it and it never got old! Happy holidays! 🤡 🎉🤣🥳🍾🤡❤️
Spend a lot more on matanos l’evyonim than on mishloach manos and seuda
Clocks have been changed before Purim for years
A fresh salad In a takeout container. Good for people on the busy day eating lots of sugar and drinking lots
I put my energy, and some money, into sending packages to not-yet-frum folks. A chocolate bar, a hamantashen, grogger, mask, coins for matanos l’evyonim, a Purim brochure. The results are beyond great BH. Last year one lady baked her own hamantashen. Then I gear up to send Pesach matzoh. The handmade matzoh was the highlight of my doctor’s family seder, where he was in charge of the chinuch — over 100 people were there, including lots of children!
People, stop baking your own hamantachen and put it into a shalach manos! No one eats them. They go directly to the trash. With people recycling items you never actually know who baked it and what kashrus they keep at home
Sorry to have this view but Purim on Friday doesn’t feel like Purim
