As a parent who had children in wilkes Barre, I can honestly say that I was dubious and sceptical at first. It seemed like they attracted the malcontents of our broken yeshiva system. Then came a great shock. The Perlmans, Levitins and Seewalds and families (wives as well) are tzadikim and not nistarim either. They are devoted, dedicated and are an inspiration. The Perlmans & Levitins should be applauded and should not have to struggle financially for one moment as they are the real deal doing G-d’s work. The love they impart is unparelled and our biggest Yeshivas need to… Read more »

Having grown up with Uri & Pinyeh these fellows live EMES and will be recognized as by all who seek authenticity in lubavitch. I haven’t seen them in years but these guys don’t know any agenda or guile.

You should have much success

Kol haKavod, inspiring and beautiful. Really great that people like you started this yeshiva and that someone recognized the need for this and took on this mission.

huge fan

over the past few years I have met many young men/buchrim at varoiuse shabbos tabels from many diff yeshivas. It struck me how menchlich the buchrim from Wilks-Berry are. They are not only taught to love yiddishkiet in an incredable way but also to love one another- this level of Ahavas Yisroel is really beautiful and should be taught at all yishivos.
My only issue is that we need a program like this for girls.

November 5, 2011 3:54 pm

I have never visited, but i recently interacted with a group of the bochurim from the yeshiva for a few hours, i was amazed impressed and inspired. Tomchai temimim of the 21 century, where the bochurim are working on themselves with real ahavas yisroel.
Keep it up!
A Shliach

great idea!
November 5, 2011 3:40 pm

Well done, Nissen, to gather hachlotos from all the bochrim.
Nice birthday present for Rabbi Uri.
May all the added mitzvos help to bring Moshiach Now!

a yeshiva with vision
November 5, 2011 3:19 pm

Thanks to Rabbi Uri and the rest of the devoted staff, the Rebbes children are able to become once again mekushar and love learning chassidus.
Mazel Tov and may your yeshiva go from strength to strength, obviously with the help of those who recognise that it can grow with your tzedoka, so partner with their amazing work.
Hashem has abundance to pay back many times what you give. This is an outstanding educational institution.l

I see your ear
