A child’s physical health is always a priority, with annual well-visits to the doctor and constant supervision from parents. But when is it the right time to consider a child’s emotional well-being?
Neshamos.org was formed with the goal to provide the resources and education needed to empower community members to support the inner health of today’s youth. In an upcoming Wellness Resource Fair, taking place on Chof Cheshvan, Sunday Nov. 17th, 8pm at the Jewish Children’s Museum.
Neshamos.org invites every adult who wishes to understand and improve the inner-health of our youth to join in on a night of growth and exploration, for both men and women.
Rabbi Shais Taub, renowned lecturer and teacher, will give us a little insight on the importance of the day and practical translation of Chassidic ideas with his trademark wit and wisdom.
Mrs. Blimie Heller, parenting coach and passionate educator, will share tools and inspiration on how to respectfully and effectively problem solve with children.
Moishe Chanin, mental health coach and vulnerability advocate, will provide closing remarks.
A guest parent will share her journey to becoming a better parent.
The Rebbe Rashab said: It is an absolute duty for every person – whether deeply learned or simple – to spend a half hour every day thinking about the Jewish-education of children, and to do everything in his power – and beyond his power – to inspire children to follow the path along which they are being guided. (Hayom Yom, 22 Teves.)
Raising this generation of youth is an awesome honor and responsibility. This Chof Cheshvan, join Neshamos.org in making the place and time for emotional wellness be here and now.
