Shliach and author Rabbi Simcha Weinstein recently delivered the keynote address at the Rockland County Holocaust Museum’s new exhibit launch.
The exhibit, entitled “American Cartoonists, Nazi Germany and the Holocaust,” studies the birth of American cartoon heroes at the onset of WWII and their mission to fight the Nazis.
Weinstein’s lecture, called “How our Comic Book Heroes Fought the Nazis,” was given to a packed, standing room crowd of over 130 people.
The museum’s director, Tanja Sarett noted, “It truly was the best event the Museum had in a long time. Rabbi Simcha was a real blessing for us.”
