Men wearing a hand-watch is jewlery, no? A woman can wear a watch, but what about a man? (Oh, if it stops working HE will take it off, but she won’t? And how often do watches stop working on shabbos? Not very often, so why be worried about it?! If my belt breaks I might be tempted to remove it, rather than wear a broken belt – but no one is worried about that!).
