“In these times, it is crucial that we tap into our reservoir of unbridled, unifying love,” says artist Chana Laber, who has a brother with special needs.
“Having my brother Yosef Chaim in my life has taught me a completely new level of unconditional love,” she says. “It is not based on external or superficial matters. This love is simple.”
She expressed that love in a new painting titled “One Father, One Nation – ואב אחד לכולנה” that was created in collaboration with Friendship Circle of Brooklyn and Bear Givers EmpowerArt program.
It will be unveiled this Sunday, June 6, on Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights.
