Is that the entire escape was orchestrated by the head of the Gestapo in Denmark. Hitler had asked him why there were still Jews in Denmark, and ordered him to get rid of them ASAP. He sent his deputy to Sweden to make sure the Jews would have somewhere to go, and then he deliberately “leaked” word that the nazis planned to round up all the Jews on Rosh Hashana. He spoke of this supposed plan where he knew he would be overheard by people who would warn the Jews, as indeed happened, and over Rosh Hashana almost the entire… Read more »

A very moving film and so important to have survivors tell their first hand stories while so few of them are still alive..Gratifying to know that they are part of a flourishing Chabad community in Denmark. .
