COVID-19 has brought the world to a halt. But Torah learning never stops.
Torah, unity, and empowerment stand at the core of this learning revolution. Chidon Sefer Hamitzvos is a worldwide campaign that unites children from across the world in their knowledge of the 613 Mitzvos. Using the acclaimed, full-color Yahadus curriculum, students learn all 14 of the Rambam’s seforim with examples that bring the mitzvos to life. The five-year curriculum has captured the minds of over 4,000 children in 21 countries.
Top scoring students are chosen as finalists to participate in a grand championship complete with a fast-paced game show and red-carpet award ceremony. The Chidon participants cannot take the stage this year, but the impact of their accomplishments will be broadcast for the entire world to see.
Show up for the kids and for Torah learning and make this Chidon one no one will ever forget!
Jewish music superstars Avraham Fried, Benny Friedman and Eli Marcus will join the virtual event as we celebrate thousands of children who have mastered the study of the 613 Mitzvos.
An estimated 100,000 people are expected to join the Chidon from across the globe: Australia, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United States of America, Ukraine, Uruguay and Venezuela.
The Chidon is sponsored by a generous grant from Mr. George Rohr, dedicated in honor of his mother Mrs. Sarah (Charlotte) Rohr.
Tune in on Thursday, April 2 at 2:00 PM to the International Chidon Sefer Hamitzvos Game Show and Award Ceremony to be aired on COLlive.com.
