As part of the Rebbe’s instruction, a Kinus Torah was held in Berlin and was attended by dozens of members of the Chabad community in Berlin.
The Kinus Torah was held in the central synagogue – Chabad Berlin. The Kinus Torah began by Rabbi Yehuda Tiechtel, Rabbi of the Berlin community, who spoke about using fuel that is chametz on Pesach.
Chief Rabbi of the city of Holon, Rabbi Yochanan Gurary spoke on the matter of “a worker who made a factory chametz, is it permitted to ask the insurance for a refund? Is it considered a pleasure from chametz or not?” as well as the question “Can the members of the synagogue be forced to participate in a Minyan.”
Among the speakers was Prof. Menachem Geler who spoke about sources in Shas for the ways of medicine, Rabbi David Gurary, head of the Chabad institutions in Holon, who spoke about “A person who eats sold chametz does it cancel the sale.”
Rabbi Shmuel Segal, a Shliach in Berlin, spoke about the subject of “What is Shmura Matzah?”, Dr. Alexander Malkov spoke about “the signs of kashrut in chickens,” and Rabbi Menachem Lazar spoke of three stages of Yetzias Mitzrayim.
