Volunteers and supporters of Bikur Cholim of Crown Heights gathered for their Annual Breakfast and Chinese Auction fundraiser Sunday morning.
The annual lavish breakfast event celebrates the dedicated volunteers of the organization.
The work of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Bikur Cholim was highlighted at the event, which reaches into all facets of community life. Daily, over 300 women and girls volunteer and engage in tireless work on behalf of our community.
The event was emceed by Mrs. Ruthie Kirschenbaum. Guest speakers were Mrs. Rivky Brikman and Mrs. Aidella Blesofsky.
The decor for the event was presented by event planner Chani Greenbaum.
Bikur Cholim’s volunteer base and widespread assistance has experienced tremendous growth over the last year.
Whether it be delivering home cooked meals, offering rides to doctors’ appointments, providing financial aid for medical necessities, helping mothers with newborns, or joyous pre-yom tov programs for children affected by illness – their remarkable volunteers consistently bring caring and kindness to hundreds in our community each year.
