Jewish Girls Unite is launching a new virtual program to link girls with their grandmothers.
During these challenging times with increased isolation, Jewish Girls Unite has stepped up to offer a virtual community with meaningful social and educational experiences for girls of all ages.
In addition to after school and Sunday Creative Online Clubs, daily Judaic and Bat Mitzvah classes, JGU is launching a new program to link girls with their grandmothers.
CIRCLES, founded by Rochi Shemtov, Shlucha in Uruguay, and Nechama Laber, Director of Jewish Girls Unite, will create a warm virtual space to link the generations.
The first monthly Zoom event will take place this Wednesday, Nov. 25, 9 Kislev at 7:00 PM ET for girls with their grandmothers or older relative/friend. The event will include a Zoom Breakout room activity, Pay It Forward Kindness project, and entertainment.
Mrs. Devorah Rivkin remarked, “I was totally impressed by how JGU gets the girls involved in such interesting and educational programs. May JGU go from strength to strength. Looking forward to joining CIRCLES with my granddaughter.”

I know Rochi and she’s always got really great ideas. I’m sure this will be a total success.
I’m signing up!
What a beautiful idea! May you go from strength to strength!
