i vote 5th avenue
September 10, 2017 10:56 pm

i think if the participants in this parade were to parade down 5th avenue they’d refrain from engaging in this horrifying behavior. why not apply for a permit to parade down fifth avenue like most other big ethnic parades?

Simches beis Hashivas has nothing to do with the parade, it is the fact that it goes on till 7am, and some of us do have to go to work, and the music does not start till 10am and does not end till wee hours in the morning, and for a week some of us do not get any sleep, and there a quite a few people that feel the same way I do, nobody is saying not to have SBH, but cant they start a little earlier and end a little earlier

TO EVERYONE

The parade is only one day, even thought there is always someone getting hurt, and it is on a day when most people are off from work, but what about Simchas bas Hashavas, it is for a whole week, when a lot of people have to get up to go to work and it goes on till 7am, and it is not about that it is safe to walk outside, it could just start earlier and end earlier

ummm....

Actually, there are no native americans. Even the so-called “natives” came here from Asia.

Anyway, I just think this is Hashem’s way of weeding out riffraff from this world.

No more Parade
September 5, 2017 10:43 am

If the history of this Parade shows killings and violence in the past few years, why is that not reason enough for the City and Police to put an end to this Yearly Parade. Will we have to have more deaths to finally convince the Authorities that this Parade should not continue anymore.

To # 15, FYI

This is not the indigenous population. American Indians are. This is often referred to as the Caribbean day parade, as well, because that’s where a large percentage of the participants originate from.

what will it take to transfer this occasion to Manhattan like all other ethnic parades? How many more casualties will it take for the City Hall to wake up and get the message? How mucy longer do the residence of C H have to be in lock down or lock out mode!!!! Which politician will step forward and have the guts to initiate this move?

I agree with you, Eastern Parkway is not the appropriate place for the parade. Nevertheless, its only one day out of the year so it doesn’t bother me so much.

foolishness
September 5, 2017 6:59 am

really foolishness is that what they are calling murder and mayhem?

Labor?
September 5, 2017 6:39 am

Labor Day is a holiday celebrating people who work for a living. What connection do these violent parasites have to labor day? Most of them have never done an honest day’s work in their life.

Stop the PC garbage

This parade has been a source of death, violence and destruction since its inception.

It is the ONLY event. possibly in the world, that is held, year after bloody year, despite the carnage and danger.

Furthermore, instead of ending it, the city pumps more and more police resources into it, at tremendous cost to the taxpayers.

WHY?!!

How would you react if the indigenous population said similar things about the Simchas Beis HaShoveiva party for many days, not just one

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!!

Get these meshugenes out of here!

Should be on Fifth Avenue
September 4, 2017 11:21 pm

The organizers have to be made to understand that such a chosheveh parade belongs in Manhattan on Fifth Avenue not just in Brooklyn on Eastern Parkway……

Killing
September 4, 2017 9:01 pm

There are killings way to often, but the city doesn’t want to stop it

Seriously? ?
September 4, 2017 7:37 pm

Why not videos from the great event?

Wondering
September 4, 2017 7:30 pm

Why was there no police presence on the blocks where the shootings and stabbing occurred?

September 4, 2017 7:29 pm

People come from all over to see the parade, and there are always a few hoodlums that got to ruin it for the rest of the crowd, same old song

when will our politicians wake up?
September 4, 2017 7:27 pm

when will the Vaad & others take their heads out from the Goyim’s behinds? when will they put aside the photo ops long enough to take real action to stop or move the parade? evry year there are multiple incidents 7 every year our lives are in danger because the police can’t or won’t do their Jobs correctly!1
