Tehillim can save – literally.
R’ Moshe Dovid Cohen, a Lubavitcher bus driver of the 131 route from Beitar to Elad, says he was saved last week from suffering injuries because he was reciting Tehillim.
Cohen, who drives his bus daily through the village of Kfar Chabad, said he was waiting for his next trip this past Thursday for the Kavim bus company.
“Usually, I used the down time to take a nap on the back bench of the bus,” Cohen said. “That day, I decided to complete saying the daily portion of Tehillim which I hadn’t recited that morning.”
As the dashboard camera on the bus showed, as Cohen was pacing with the Tehillim in hand, the bus suddenly rattled. Cohen is seen in shock, but unharmed. He then opens the door and runs outside.
Cohen said a minibus crashed into the rear of his parked bus with “might.” Had he been sleeping on the back bench, he would have been hit, Cohen said. “The Tehillim saved me.”
