NOW MY SON KNOWS HIS MISHNAYOS!

Dear Creator of ‘Visual Mishnayos’ – Menachem Benchemon: I’m from LA…my son has just begun learning Mishnayos for the first time. They started with Maseches Sukkah. He would come home, saying how strange and not realistic the cases presented in Mishnayos are. When he came home today, I told him of these videos, and watched them together! He loves them! He is watching it again and again! he’s screaming “help, help, help” (Mishnah 7 🙂 He has a test tomorrow on perek 1 – and he was struggling with the understanding of the mishnayos. Not anymore! he got these 3… Read more »

I like how there’s no talking in the videos, (except for when the subtitles and narration teach the actual texts of the Mishnah), only action. this way, many ages can appriciate the humor, versus when there’s talking, some children may not “get the jokes” or older kids may be bored of it….with action only videos, if there is a part that is not so funny, it’ll just flow….it blends into the story of trying to build a sukkah. all together: this is abrilliant idea! its funny, kids are enthusiastic and modivated to learn. Its visual, so they REALLY understand! itms… Read more »

This is such a refreshing way to learn! To actually visualize the learning! I was always try to teach my son, that when we learn something in the torah, it’s not something in the book; an illustration or sketch. It’s REAL! “you walk down the street and you can SEE the torah come to LIFE”! So although these are only 3 samples on mishnayos sukkah, I now have what to really show when I say – We need to visualize what we learn! oh, and the humor? I love how he falls off the roof” in MIshnah 7. My son… Read more »

Your idea is creative and you are very brave for doing something so unconventional. Please keep on doing projects like these. We need them!

Hey, that makes learning easy and fun for all children, but it really sounds awesome for children with disabilities especially visual learners. I’m sure your great spirit, calmness, devotion and creativity would make the boys learning with you some “lucky KIDS.”

This is what are children need! Funny vidoes to get them interested. Visual, so they really understand. It brings the learning to LIFE! And with the narration and subtitles of the text of the Mishnah, my son now knows how to pronounce the hebrew words of the Mishnah. He knows the translation well. He even can remember the words of the mishnah by heart. It all sticks to him.
Oh, and those cards! simply beautifull!

Wishing you much hatzlacha!
How about Visual Gemara? Can’t wait!
