When a 14-year-old Jewish girl from Brooklyn got lost in the Bigelow Hollow State Park in Connecticut in 1995, a special song was composed thanking Hashem for her safe rescue.
It was titled “Chasdei Hashem Ki Lo Samnu” and we dedicate it to the 2 girls that were found in Orlando, FL.

i just turned 15 now and it was nice that they did a song for her i bet she is 25 now with kids and a husband
wait did this story happen before Peasch 1994?
wow i remember that story wow thank you so much for post it
This song was playing in my head as I davened that the story of these girls would have a happy ending too–and B’Chasdei Hashem it did!! Mah Robu Maasecha Hashem!
B”h they’re okay! Thank you to The merciful one up above!
What memories!
The immense world wide joy when she was fine was tremendous! as is our joy now for the 2 missing girls and their families!
I can’t fathom their fear and terror while their children were missing
As a fellow mother of girls of that age group, I say
Chasdei Hashem on behalf of all of us!
Only good news always
thats exactly what i was thinking. especilally since, as a high school we went down to CT to help hand out food to the volunteers. I remember the van pulling up, and being swarmed with media.
I’ll never forget them impact that had on me as a child.. I remember davening for her with all my heart and the relief and happiness that we had when she was found. Bh for the happy endings!
I remember this
I remember this! And yes this song was brought to mind for me as well.
Great minds think alike.
It was may 94.
