Where in the Rebbe’s video or in the music video do you see the contrary? (Actually when using a phrase like “WHETHER a rabbi or a lawyer”, it actually emphasizes that they are different, opposite sides of a spectrum)
Of course a timim remains a tomim even if he is a lawyer or doesn’t keep mitzvos but he isn’t behaving as a tomim should. And it DOES matter! It’s NOT all yhe same if he is or isn’t frum, goes on shlichus or goes to college.

Spoiler: The Rebbe’s opinion clearly is that the “Forever a Tomim” message should be shared with all “lawyer-Temimim”
In a way, what makes the song so brilliant is MORE the message to the “lawyer-Temimim” than the message to the “Shliach-Temimim”.

The song doesn’t say anything against shlichus, it just says that even Tmimim that become lawyers or pizza makers are also Tmimim just like rabbis or shluchim. That is what is so BRILLIANT about the song, as miryam swerdlov wrote in comment 1, it validates everyone, we are all Tmimim, we are all winners, whether we go on shlichis or go into a profession.
Saying that there is no “1 size fits all” is like saying there is no “1 size fits all” to living a life of torah and mitzvos for the rebbe states clearly that MITZVAS HADOR IS SHLICHUS FOR EVREY SINGLE CHASID it is mindboggeling how chasidim take the liberty to say stuff like that
I really liked the song however i would comment that the rebbe said meny times that ת”ת means neirous lehayir i.e. going on shlichos the rebbe procleimed that shelichos is the מצות הדור and mission of ת”ת (see for example vayishlach 5747 and 20 cheshvon 5745) obivesly one can bring moshiach as a lawyer etc. But the role that the rebbe expected and demanded of us as תמימים and נרות להאיר was to actually go on shelichus in the literall sense of the word

Especially the lyrics “whether a rabbi or a lawyer we are neros l’ho’ir” giving equal recognition to the students who end up being rabbis (shluchim) or pursue a profession (lawyers), they are all equally holy and equally tmimim and doing what the Rebbe wants.
This is indeed a BRILLIANT message. We can all shine in our own way.
There is no “one size fits all”. Some will be rabbis/shluchim, others will be lawyers/professionals.
B’chol drochecha da’aihu, the Rebbe is proud of WHATEVER choice one makes in his career path.
