Three young girls were physically attacked Wedesday afternoon in Crown Heights. The perpetrator has not been caught.
First an 11 year-old black girl was attacked on Maple St., then a 10 year old Lubavitcher girl from the same block. Both were knocked to the ground by the assailant.
Victims described the attacker as a black male, around 18-20 years old, wearing jeans, white shirt with a black design and a black hat.
Police are currently investigating a third incident on Crown Street and have asked residents to be alert.
The police will only get there after something happens and take pictures and file a report.
So the point is for all girls to carry peper spray with them and to have it handy any time.
Keep your eyes open, if you feel you might need it place your hand inside your purse and hold it…
If anyone gets a little close, it’s ready for use.

guys stop judging and saying loshon hora about others! , STOP ATTACKINGG OTHER PEOPLE! THIS IS SO NOT NICE, AS WE ARE JEWS AND (CHABAD) , . we should be more nicer! Thank you
Zaki Tamir, running in the Vaad Hakol election, in a week, has the credentials to help Crown Heights’s crime problem. Zaki Tamir worked in the Brooklyn DA office for 4 years. Zaki, a Lubavitcher, is a dynamic person with all the right security connections; the District Attorney, Charles Hines. He also worked with the officers of the 71pct. Meayin yavo ezri.
To #5–what is wrong with you??? the innocent little girl was walking home from school in her beis rivka uniform!! she’s dressing like she’s 18? stop jumping to your own conclusions and stop being so judgmental…if you have nothing to say don’t say it!!!!!!!!
ya!never happenin 2 me!dont be scared!
Your point is well put. Chabad is supposed to be based on “Love” but we have lost focus. Many people are very good at taking care of “Others” but to our own they shown hatred.
Lets remember what the purpose is.
hey thats freaky im terrified
how am i walking home from schoollllllllllll
al tiftach peh lasoton.
Where are your parents? Is everyone in your family dysfunctional except you? Are your sisters really so stupid?
I want to know…why do our schools bury their heads in the sand? Why aren’t they giving self defense courses? Getting female officers to speak about personal safety & self protection? And if they are doing these things, tell us!
why are police only there after what happened but not there when the attack happens?
Im with you alll the way!!
agree 1000000%%%%%!!!!!
While Achus is greatly needed, apathy should be dreaded.
This is #5, oy vay did I try! I offerd them mace, begged them to let me take them to the range to teach them to shoot. They just laugh and giggle
It really hurts to hear of woman or girls that were raped. I wish I could eradicate evil, but girls, stop being so naןve!
Your right thats anything can happen to anyone, but you can’t say that he didn’t have a point… i think it could def lower the chances…
ch is the best all we have to do it take care of it :
parents shouldnt let their own daughter to walk alone walk in groups. or if it takjes just a few min to walk your daughter to her friend do it . ses your daughter after all.
better to be dsafe then sorry.
never say it wont happen to be because you might be c”v the very next one
I am not one to harp on the tznius issue, but maybe we as a community need to look at what is provocative in general. Even if the victims dress appropriately it may be Hashem’s way of saying, the community in general should look at the way we dress.
what are you saying thats very wrong ther are some aminals and ther are very nice black pepole it dosent go by color the same way ther are wierd jews like neturei karta so now you want pepole to say all the jews are wierd so the same way respect others
whats up with the dissing chill out its all politics all this rubish must leave crown heights shmira shomrim yechi not yechi making fun of israeli buchrim in 770 calling them tzfatim im not a mishichist and im not a anti mishichist i let evry body do what they want as they say “what ever floats your boat” lets get some achdus
girls b strong a dont let these black guys scare u
you should only be afraid of Hashem. “They looked at us like we were grasshoppers and we were grasshoppers in their eyes: V’dal
how are they now??
we have to run from the city in the summer because of the blacks WHAT THE H____
Shomrim was there- definitely not Shmira.
While I agree our women & girls must dress appropriately, believe me when I say that dress does NOT provoke assaults. I read today of an 85 year old woman who was raped. Do you think she dressed like a who-knows-what? And one of MY students, not in Crown Heights, was raped on her way to school, wearing her uniform. She was a 7th grader. She didn’t “ask for it” either.
Be supportive of your sisters. Protect them. It wouldn’t hurt for girls to walk in groups, learn some basic self defense & carry Mace in their hands.
Stop relying on non Jews to help you. Every summer its the same thing. Jews get attacked, more useless cops come and give us more tickets, and Jews still get beat up.
Open a Tihillim and study Kapitel Kuf Mem Daled. Learn from King Dovid. Learn to defend yourselves already.

to # 6: I was at the scene the whole time and shmira wasnt even present. no disrespect to them but they werent there. shomrim was called and responded with masses and very fast. stop with the lies
In other news, my sisters completely ignore my repeated warnings to watch how they dress… when a 13 year old dresses like she is 18.. she will bear the harsh consquences
sounds like u can never walk down the street with trouble
omg i was scared she was my neigbor on my block i not walking alone
summer is officially here. we should all be afraid
Thanks to Sergeant Falk & Shomrim for a quick response.
