The Mesivta of Pittsburgh had an inspiring farbrengen in honor of Yud Tes Kislev, featuring Rabbi Binyomin Scheiman of Chicago, IL, who farbrenged with the bochurim through the whole night, leaving a lasting impact on all who participated.
Following Yud Tes Kislev, the Mesivta transitioned seamlessly into Chanukah mode. The Shluchim coordinated mivtzoim, and several Mitzvah Tanks were rented, enabling the Bochurim to travel throughout the city and bring the light of Chanukah to the yidden of Pittsburgh.
The Yeshiva was filled with warmth and excitement as the Bochurim made fresh donuts on campus, their delicious aroma wafting through the halls.
Latke Ovents were hosted in the homes of members of the Hanhala, and the Bochurim also enjoyed the Mesivta’s annual ice-skating trip.
All in all, it was truly a Kislev to remember. A heartfelt thank you to Rabbi Greenwald, the Rosh Mesivta; Rabbi Shusterman, the Menahel; and the dedicated Shluchim for organizing and leading these meaningful and memorable events.
