A CHYE business networking event for women reveals the surprising ingredient to success, led by popular speaker Yocheved Sidof.
Women in business have unique challenges. As entrepreneurs, business professionals, community leaders and mothers, women often juggle hard choices. How much of myself do I bring into my business? How do I create boundaries? How do I avoid burn-out?
Yocheved Sidof, a social entrepreneur, educator and activist, coaches entrepreneurs and philanthropists to enact their visions with a holistic, embodied, systemic lens. In next week’s business networking event, Yocheved will harness her unique background to advise women on how to be the leader their business needs.
“From defining your passion and vision, to crystallizing your unique persona, to nourishing your individuality, this workshop aims to support women through all of the challenges of entrepreneurship,” explains Yocheved Sidof. “By the end of the night, my goal is to help every woman leverage the greatest asset in her business—her SELF.”
The networking event is the third in a monthly series put together by Crown Heights Young Entrepreneurs (CHYE). Hosted in the new and luxurious Miriam’s Motherhood Center, [day of week’s] workshop will include practical tools, invigorating conversation, and an open floor Q&A.
“Our goal with CHYE is to empower women in running or launching businesses,” explains Rabbi Yehoshua Werde, who founded CHYE in 2012 to support entrepreneurship in Crown Heights. CHYE brings together business owners and freelancers of Crown Heights to network, build relationships, and access professional development and educational opportunities. “Getting ahead in life, career, and business, all starts with the right mindset,” Werde says.
