US President Donald Trump invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to a meeting at the White House one week from today, on Tuesday, February 4, the Prime Minister’s Office announced.
Netanyahu will be the first foreign leader to be invited to the White House during President Trump’s second term.
The announcement comes one week after Trump’s inauguration and a little over a week after the start of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization that was reached thanks to Trump’s intervention before he took office.
Trump’s action highlights Israel as a key priority and shows that Netanyahu is a valued ally of the new administration. This sharply contrasts with President Joe Biden who notably refused to meet Netanyahu for almost a year, indicating his disapproval of Israel’s approach to its war on terrorism.
Trump and Netanyahu are expected to discuss the ongoing hostage crisis in Gaza and efforts to extend the ceasefire beyond the six weeks of the agreement’s first phase. They will also likely discuss the Iranian issue and the ceasefire with the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon.
Trump has repeatedly proposed relocating the population of Gaza for their own benefit. Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, he explained the reasoning: “People are dying there, and everything is demolished. We need to clean that place out.” He later stated that he wanted to build housing for Gazans “far from conflict” and tell them, ‘You know, it’s over.'”
As detailed in other press conferences, Trump’s plan would involve the complete relocation of all of Gaza’s population to alternative housing in a different country to rehabilitate the Gaza Strip in their absence.
He estimated that relocating 1.5 million people could cost billions, not including maintenance and security. However, this may not be as costly as rebuilding Gaza from the ongoing war, given Hamas’ refusal to relinquish power.

If Trump keeps this up, maybe he should have a city named after him in Israel.
We already do

Why couldn’t your headline just say ” president trump immediately invites Israeli prime minister”
?
why don’t you open your own blog?
Netanyahu capitulated to a horrendous agreement due to our President. There’s no guarantee that his coming here won’t lead to more bad news.
Trump is not sincere. He panders to Jews while violating Noahide laws left and right. Wake up please, and see through this nonsense.
His policies are more in line with morals than the previous liberal administration agenda
if you really believe that, you are either deeply misinformed about Trump or DEEPLY missing some lessons on Torah ethics. please educate yourself
He is a white supremacist. when he felt like he was losing he said “if they Jews don’t vote for me they need their heads examined” to denigrate us and make us an easy scape goat for his Christian Nationalist base if he lost. He is a disgusting and props up people who do nazi salutes. WAKE UP YIDDEN and stop worshiping trump and musk.
Until all hostages are out, all talk no action.
“There will be all hell to pay”.
Yeah… for *us* to pay.
People noting negative things that mainly Witkoff has been leaning into, should note: 1. How the President is promoting the idea of encouraging Arabs to leave Gaza and finding places for them in Jordan, Egypt, Indonesia, Albania etc. This is an emphatically positivd development that could dramatically change Israel’s security position for the better to an enormous degree, 2. Multiple other actions that he has taken that are good for us, such as the imposition of sanctions on the ICC (part of which was shamefully blocked by the Dems led by Schumer today). There are good reasons to be grateful… Read more »
Let’s face it. Trump is covering for Bibi who is the one who asked Trump to “pressire” him. Bibi can’t stand being tethered to Ben Gvir, Smotrich, and Deri. He would rather work with Lieberman and others in a broad coalition. So he wants Trump to alienate Ben Gvir. Trump capitulated out of fear that the Left would replace Bibi. We anash can help by getting partisan and backing Ben Gvir, now, just as the residents of Kfar Chabad delivered him his votes last election. Trump’s middle level picks confirm where his heart is regarding Eretz Yisrael HaGdolah. /S Balberg,… Read more »
